Give students a Financial Advice Dilemma to practice and apply their critical thinking skills as well as their decision making skills! With all of the financial advise options available, students need to understand what they are all about as well as their pros and cons. So, use this activity as part of your decision making unit, as a stand alone extension activity or as a sub plan. Regardless of when or how you use it, students will have to put on their thinking caps!

This Avant Garde Fashion lesson, has students actively exploring how creativity, bold ideas, and unexpected choices can shape expressive design! It provides some background information focusing on what it is, how it came to be, some designer examples and why it matters. Afterwards, students are provided with a hands-on designing challenge presented in a runway show that shares their experimentation and creative thinking with the class.
